Our compost builds community gardens.

Spread the dirt, spread the love! Every season we donate compost to local community gardens in Little Rock. This effort is aided by generous Food Loopers who choose to donate their compost share. Learn more about the gardens and organizations we've partnered with to fight hunger, teach students, and engage neighborhoods.

The Heifer Urban Farm is a beautiful three-acre demonstration farm located in downtown Little Rock at the Heifer International headquarters. In 2016, Heifer Urban Farm partnered with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance to grow food for the Arkansas Foodbank in a designated Gleaning Garden. We're proud to compost not only this plot, but the rest of the Heifer Urban Farm.
